1. Who we are

The RUH Watch website (ruhwatch.com) and the @RUH_Watch account on X are a free service provided by Roundout Company LLC, a Saudi limited liability company based in Riyadh, Commercial Registration No. 7055349612 ("we"). We are the controller responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy, under the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its regulations. 2. The data shown on the site

The flight data shown (flight numbers, times, statuses and destinations) is public operational information about flights, not personal data; the site shows no information about passengers. It comes from external parties and open sources publicly available from various sources on the internet; we only collect, combine and present it in one place (see the terms and conditions).

3. The data we collect about you

• When you browse the site: no sign-up and no accounts; we use no cookies, analytics, trackers or ads. Our server automatically logs technical data about each request (IP address, time, page requested and browser type) for operation and security only.
• When you use the contact form: your name (optional), email address, subject, flight number (optional) and message, plus your IP address and browser type to prevent spam and abuse.
• When you email us or write to us on X: only what you send us.

4. Why we process your data, and on what basis

• To reply to your message and handle your request or feedback (such as a flight data correction), based on the consent you give when you send the form.
• To run and protect the site and prevent abuse, based on our legitimate interest, without prejudice to your rights and interests.
• To meet our legal obligations when a competent authority asks.

We do not use your data for marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone for commercial purposes.

5. Who we share data with

• Service providers that run the site for us (hosting, content delivery and protection, and email), and only as far as needed.
• Competent government or judicial authorities when they request it under the law.

6. Transfers outside the Kingdom

The data described above may be processed outside the Kingdom by the service providers that run the site, including hosting in the European Union and global content delivery networks. We limit this to the minimum needed to run the site and reply to you, with providers that apply recognised data protection standards (such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation), in line with the Regulation on the Transfer of Personal Data outside the Kingdom.

7. How long we keep data

• Technical server logs: 14 days, then deleted automatically.
• Contact form messages: up to 12 months after we receive them, then deleted automatically, or sooner at your request unless the law requires us to keep them.
• Emails: as long as needed to handle your request.

8. How we protect data

Every page of the site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to messages is limited to authorised people on a protected server. If a data breach occurs, we notify the competent authority (the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, SDAIA) and the affected people as the law requires.

9. Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to be informed of how and why your data is collected and processed, to access it and obtain a copy, to ask for it to be corrected, completed or updated, to ask for it to be destroyed, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]; we reply within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

10. Children

The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you learn that a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

The site links to other sites and services such as X, which have their own privacy policies.

12. Changes

We may update this policy and will publish any change on this page with the date of the last update. If this English translation differs from the Arabic text, the Arabic text prevails.
